Dubailand

Dubailand is an ambitious development project in Dubai that aims to create one of the world's largest leisure and entertainment destinations. The 278 square kilometer area was first announced in October 2003 and comprises 26 development projects with a total of 50 visitor attractions.

Among the most significant projects within Dubailand are Arabian Ranches, Dubai Sports City, Falcon City of Wonders and Golf City, all of which are designed as themed residential areas. Although numerous theme parks were originally planned, no major theme parks have been realized to date. Instead, development has focused on residential projects and specialized facilities such as sports stadiums and golf courses.

The vision of Dubailand was to provide a diverse mix of residential, leisure and entertainment facilities to attract both residents and tourists. Despite some delays and adjustments, Dubailand remains a central part of Dubai's long-term development strategy. Dubailand offers a variety of educational facilities, shopping centers and leisure attractions that provide a comprehensive experience for residents and visitors.
