Expo City Dubai was created on the 430-hectare Expo 2020 site and forms a visionary, multifunctional district in the south of Dubai. It combines forward-looking sustainability, urban quality of life and economic dynamism, embedded in landscaped parks, waterscapes and an intelligent transportation network.

Sustainable urban development: Over 80% of the Expo infrastructure has been retained; all new buildings are aiming for LEED Gold, the public infrastructure for BREEAM Excellent - combined with a growing "WELL Community Gold" approach.

Green & blue network: 231,000 m² of public parks, 250,000 m² of squares and play areas, more than 30,000 native trees and urban water features promote biodiversity and wellbeing.

Vibrant, mixed use: Expo City combines living space (over 35,000 residents), offices (40,000 professionals), start-ups (including Siemens as an early-tenant), educational and health facilities and cultural venues.

Shopping & leisure Attractive gradient living: Integrated restaurants (incl. farm-to-table), cafés, squares, urban forums and event venues make Expo City a vibrant environment.

Event and MICE location: The Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) has been expanded and serves as an attractive meeting place for international congresses, events and culture.

Education & Health Holistic care: Existing healthcare facilities, schools and research programs complement the city's offerings; future healthcare and education facilities are included in the master plan.

Location & transport links Excellent accessibility: Directly on the Dubai Metro Route 2020 (Expo 2020 Station, future Expo City Metro), conveniently located near Sheikh Zayed Road. Only a few minutes away: Al Maktoum Airport, Dubai South and Jebel Ali.

Dynamic urban transformation: Expo City has been continuously developed since its official opening in October 2022. The area planned on a 3.5 km² scale already comprises over 35,000 residents and 40,000 jobs.

Key role for Dubai's future: Expo City is one of the five main centers of the Dubai 2040 Urban Masterplan, integrated into Economic Agenda D33 and supporting the emirate's southern development. The main users are investors, knowledge communities, companies and visitors.
